Thanks a lot for posting this travelogue. Nostalgia may not be a buddhist feeling :) but I feel nostalgic as I spent 10 years of my life in India.

Good travelogue. With private vehicle it is much easier to access out of tourist route places.
Looks like conditions have not changed very much. Hot, dry, arid, sparse, poor, apathy of the ruler then and now Bihar.
