Of course all this is nonsense. Everyone knows that Jesus survived crucifixion and went to India and died there. See my posts of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of February 2009.
All known "Indian gospels" are fakes. As well as "finds" in Tibetan monasteries... Yet... The gospel by Thomas, the earliest found bits of which are dated late First or the early Second century seem to indicate that Jesus at least was aware of some of Buddhist views, including multiple births, the need for knowing onself rather than having faith in God to reach The Kingdom (Nirvana :), the idea of Emptiness as the characteristic feature of The Kingdom and many other non-judaic statements.
Nah, Jesus married Mary Magdalene and went to Europe. We have confirmation since it was in the movies Last Temptation of Christ and DaVinci Code. (kidding, in case anyone cannot tell.)
Oh, man, everyone knows that Jesus went to Brazil and now he is dating Madonna - http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/12/22/jesus-luz-madonna-linked_n_152768.html
What inquiring minds really want to know - did Jesus prefer sushi or sashimi ?
ReplyDeleteBhante-
ReplyDeleteAre you sure he did not go to North America?
