There was much worry over a pastor in the U.S planning a Quran-burning day on this anniversary. According to the CNN article linked below, the event has not been carried out as scheduled. Freedom of speech is a powerful tool yet many use it thoughtlessly or irresponsibly. How much harm the tongue can invoke when we use it to say things without considering others but only our feelings and our thoughts.

I believe Metta should be extended to the perpetrators as well not just the victims. Hard it is, but that's how Metta should be practised to the ultimate level. Keep spreading wisdom and compassion.

Speaking of perpetrators,

You may want to watch this documentary (No, it's not a conspiracy kind of documentary, it's made purely of facts)

I couldn't agree more with alimin. The victims of 9/11 must include all the Iraqis, Afghans, Pakistanis, and others who have died from the US retaliation. Iraqis alone number over a million. I wonder how many more must die.

Hard as it is, we must also extend our metta to Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, and the rest of the neo-cons who took 9/11 as an opportunity to illegally attack another country for what they perceived to be their benefit.
